DMLab and PALLAS project Updates

• first Plasma acceleration meeting in July 2023 in France (IJClab) indico
  15 participants from DESY and CNRS (IJClab, LOA, LPGP) and colleagues from CEA invited. CNRS LP2IB colleagues were not available.
• Review of possible joint work with the identification of
  • high resolution neutral gas / plasma Diags development with eventually a DFG proposal.
  • STC Diags with experimental campaigns in DESY with LOA and IJClab teams
  • Simulations joint work :
    • LASY (already very active ! )
    • wake_T new features implementation and development and test of optimisation for simulation and experiment.
    • test of optimisation routine libs for laser-plasma operation
  • target development toward high average power operation (kW)
    
• 🔥 Decision to go for a first proposal to DFG-ANR should be taken within next week with CNRS, DESY and KIT colleagues.
• For next years several weeks of journey are being planned mainly for experimental joint work in DESY and GSI.
